Howdy folks. I guess new year’s resolutions are supposed to start January 1st but that’s just not how I do things. So, I’m going to look back at last year’s resolutions and then list a couple of new ones for 2017.
In 2016 I had two simple resolutions.
1: Get the biggest crowd we’ve ever had at our Tuesday night show at Iron Furnace in Quincy. We broke our previous attendance record (76 people) at the very first show of 2016 by drawing a crowd of 92 people.
2: Sweat more while moving and sweat less while sitting still.
At the beginning of 2016 I weighed 247 pounds and I was living a sedentary lifestyle.
So over the past year I’ve gone to the gym more than I ever had in my life and I’ve also eaten the most pizza I ever had in my life. I’ve lifted more weights AND slices of pizza than I would have thought possible. Some of those slices of pizza had pineapple on them, which made them extra healthy and delicious. I’m not a scientist so there’s no way of knowing whether it was the gym or the pizza that was the key to my weight loss but let’s assume that both are required to see results.
I dropped 30 pounds in 12 months. So if you wanna lose weight eat pizza, lots of pizza, but also go to the gym.
