The Random Word Generator Xmas Diaries – Fashion

*Every week (ish) Rick uses a random word generator to pick a topic, and rambles on about it using related Christmas stories, holiday thoughts, and questionable facts he thought he heard somewhere.  Once finished he’ll look up the actual definition and see if he was in the ballpark.

Random word: Fashion

Fashion, like clothes and stuff.  If anybody is qualified to talk about fashion, it is this guy right here *points to self.*  Who has 2 thumbs and loves Band Tees, Plaid shirts and old jeans?  *points to self again, but with both thumbs this time.*

For the rest of the month I am going to try and incorporate some sort of Christmas theme into these terrible blogs.  Fashion of course is an easy one.  People always buy clothing for each other during the holidays and often missing the mark.  Mothers are notoriously bad at this.

A few years ago my mother bought me various Rocawear and Timberland accoutrements.  Apparently I was a stranger to her.  At least I looked like I had been working out in space…  (grade D)

Hey, like that joke I tell…

Last Christmas my mother in law bought me a denim shirt.  Now this lady gets me!    Combining two items (jeans and overshirts) saves time I think?  (grade A)

The same year I was gifted a plaid warm, flannel shirt from my own mother.  (grade A+)  She is really getting to know me, and hey, who doesn’t love a Cinderella story (remember the Rocawear.)

Never Forget.

Fashion can also mean to make something, and really aren’t home made gifts from the heart the best gifts?…  Aren’t they?…   I’m really not sure.  I feel like no.  The sentiment is nice, but like my wife and I decided we would buy a TV and that would be our gift to each other.  Had we chosen to make a TV it would certainly be worse.

Where do I plug in the Roku?

I’m sure it wouldn’t be able to stream Netflix (Gilmore Girls currently available!) either.

That was by far the longest copy and paste in the history of this blog.  I am exhausted.  This word means too many things and I don’t like it.  Save some definition for the rest of the words, fashion.  I don’t like bully words.  Well goodbye everyone (anyone?) and remember this holiday season: giftcards.
